The University of Basel is seeking to fill a full-time (100%) professorship in the Study of Religion, effective August 1, 2027 (or as otherwise agreed). The professorship is affiliated with both the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Theology (to be renamed the Faculty of Theology and Religion as of August 1, 2027). The position will be filled as an Associate Professor or a Full Professor, depending on the qualifications of the future incumbent.
